NEW DELHI, India (AP) – Police arrested the head of eBay’s subsidiary in India in connection with the sale of pornographic videos showing teenage classmates engaged in oral sex at a prominent New Delhi high school, a news report said yesterday.

Officers arrested CEO Avnish Bajaj – an India-born American citizen – on charges relating to the sale of eight video compact discs depicting sex acts between the teenagers at the Delhi Public School, Deputy Commissioner of Police Prabhakar said.

Bajaj was arrested under the Information Technology Act, under a provision that bars the transmission of obscene material through the media, said Prabhakar, who uses a single name.

“Action will be taken against all those found to have liability in the case,” Prabhakar was quoted as saying by Press Trust of India.

Police are looking for the boy who filmed the act on his camera-fitted mobile phone at the school – one of the top educational institutions in India’s capital – and circulated it to his friends.
