WESTERN BUREAU- A man who had a domestic dispute with another man on Tuesday night that lingered into yesterday morning, was fatally shot in front of his businessplace in Montego Bay by an unknown assailant.

“A dispute started last night that persisted throughout the night and spilled over into this morning when one man took the law into his own hands,” said the crime chief for St James, Deputy Superintendent Cleon March.
Up to late yesterday afternoon, the Montego Bay CIB was interviewing a man in connection with the fatal shooting.
According to police reports, Roberts, who repaired radiators, was killed at his Creek Street shop.
When the Observer visited the murder scene, a pool of blood splattered the pavement beside the radiator that Roberts was repairing.

“Trust me, ‘Radiator Man’ is a hard working brethren who work twenty-four seven. Him work every day and night from Sunday to Saturday,” said one bystander.
One of Roberts’ co-workers, who mustered up enough courage to speak to the Observer, portrayed him as a jovial person.
“This man don’t give no trouble. All him do is just give jokes and a lot of gimmicks. Him love to talk to the woman them who are passing by. Me can’t understand why them shot him,” he said with a dazed look.
