125 rounds of ammo found on Negril beach

THE Negril Police yesterday confiscated 125 rounds of ammunition that were found along the beach in Negril.

Police said a resident who went swimming along a section of the seven-mile beach strip came upon a box, which was found to contain 40 rounds of 9mm cartridges and turned them over to the Negril police who later searched the beach.

Two more boxes of ammunition were found, containing 50 and 35 rounds, respectively.
