Billed as Jawaiian II – Twice the Spice, this celebration of food kicks off Wednesday, August 31, on a high note when well-known chef Martin Maginley will teach participants ‘How to Jerk it Up’.
The day continues with an Hawaiian cooking class; fruit and vegetable carving (what you can do at home); champagne and chocolate tasting; takes on a spirited note with mixology and wine tasting classes, featuring Grand Lido’s award-winning beverage team; before ending with the “Thrill the Grill and Jawaiian Concert”.
The six-day event will feature a variety of other cooking classes, formal dinners, and the General Manager’s Grand Gala. On Monday, September 5, the activities end with Appleton Estate’s Joy Spence, Jamaica’s only female Master Blender, hosting a cognac, rum and coffee-tasting event.
Epicurean Escape takes place at Grand Lido Negril.
