GraceKennedy Limited, one of Jamaica’s largest companies, is now accepting online job applications on its corporate website www.gracekennedy.com.

Job seekers may apply for specific job openings and also submit unsolicited applications by visiting the website to provide biographical data and post a resume online, said a company release.

The company’s web-based recruitment is supported by an applicant tracking system known as Resumate, the 84-year-old company said. The automated application process will give applicants easier access to information on job vacancies across the group, as well as quick verification of receipt of their application.

“From the administrative perspective, the system is expected to help GraceKennedy create a central repository of applicants that will be available for review by human resource managers across the group,” said the release.

“For example, following a call for applications, recruiters will now be able to review the list of unplaced candidates for other current or future positions, thus reducing the potential for losing qualified candidates.”
