Lindsay said ‘OM’…

You’ll remember the buzz some time ago when jewellers Bijoux teamed up with high-end Swiss Chopard to introduce the OM pendant – done to recognise the significance of the number nine.

Well the OM has caught the eye of celebrity bad girl Lindsay Lohan, who was captured on the cover of this month’s Harper’s Bazaar sporting the gold OM necklace. There are also photographs inside with her wearing the piece.

Naturally, the develoment was a shining hour for Bijoux principals Anup and wife Bina Chandiram (right), shown here at the Style Awards, to which they also brought some welcome bling for our Style Woman and Style Man of the year.

Needless to say, those without an OM necklace need to hurry ‘cos since the Harper’s cover they’re in much demand. Naturally those already in possession are stylishly secure this weekend.

Cometh the hour…

(Right) Gorgeous attorney-at-law Annette Francis introduced beau Mark Barnett to the style-savvy set Friday last. Based on the post-midnight feedback and yes, we might even have been under the influence of a tad too much Veuve Clicquot, but surely, you’ll agree that they look stylishly fab together.

Also future contenders for Style Couple of the Year, (bottom right) Carlysle Hudson and his beautiful wife Diane were on spot. (Above) Sandal maven Bridget Brown stepped out in her own inimitable manner with friend Ever Gordon.

Style Man of the Year…Josef Forstmayr

This style man was spotted at a funeral in a suit so sharp it almost sliced the programme. Now come on, anyone able to get that kind of notice at such a sombre occasion gets our vote, and the truth is he has imprinted this particular brand of sartorial elegance on us with such force we may have to retire the award after this.
