Man accused of conspiring to murder father arrested
A 29 year-old Portland man, accused of conspiring to murder his father, was Thursday arrested by members of Operation Kingfish.
The man, whose name was not released by the police, was said to be a deportee, and resided at Fellowship district in the parish.
Police said he allegedly contracted someone to kill his father in order to acquire his estate. A sting operation was set up in Port Antonio yesterday by Kingfish detectives and the man held while allegedly making payment on the contract.
