‘IT’s all been pretty crazy’ are the most common words from our many ‘back-to-school’ mothers. The new school term has commenced and even though the alarm clock went off 30 minutes earlier on Monday morning, a couple of you, we know, are still not yet in school routine mode.

There’s nothing like a bowl of steaming cornmeal or oats porridge to start the day. The key is to allow sufficient cooling time for the porridge.
