Soldiers to train in Moneague this weekend
THE Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) will be conducting field training exercises in the Moneague area and its environments in St Ann this weekend.
“Residents may hear loud bangs from the firing of blank rounds and pyrotechnics, but these drills will take place during the daytime,” the JDF said in a press statement yesterday.
Residents, the army said, should not be alarmed by the presence of the soldiers as the training in their communities would pose no danger.
