Bootleg case set for mention October 13
THE case against Mark Wright, the man whom police nabbed in the massive pirated CDs bust on August 6 at his Red Hills Road house, is set for mention in the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court on October 13.
The mention date was set last week after RM Judith Pusey was told that the case file was incomplete.
The police said they recovered more than 30,000 pirated music CDs and DVD movies, computers and other electrical appliances used in the illicit operation at Wright’s house at 50 Red Hills Road, Kingston 10.
Wright was charged with breaching the Copyright Act.
