$100 million expansion for Beaches Turks and Caicos
THE 453-room Beaches Turks and Caicos is to undergo a US$100 million expansion, according to Sandals Chief Executive Officer, Adam Stewart.
Stewart, who was speaking recently at the thirteenth annual Canadian Travel Industry Golf Tournament at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, said the expansion would include a resigning deal with Microsoft, which would see Xbox in every room of the hotel.
“It’s going to be phenomenal,” Stewart told the gathering of mainly Canadian travel agents.
Without giving details, Stewart also disclosed that a Beaches Antigua is in the making.
Beaches Turks and Caicos, located in Providenciales, is one of four Beaches locations, the other three being in Jamaica at Boscobel, Negril and Sandy Bay.
Sandals is already in Antigua, the resort being one of 12, spread across four Caribbean countries including Jamaica, where there are seven properties.
Sandals Resorts have been voted World’s best all-inclusive for 13 years in a row.
