Woman found with throat slashed
GLENGOFFE, St Catherine – The police were up to late yesterday evening investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman, whose throat was found slashed in this rural St Catherine community.
According to the Glengoffe police, some time during yesterday the woman had a dispute with her husband, after which he allegedly used an implement to slash her throat. She died on the spot.
There were reports that the woman’s husband allegedly used a hoe to inflict the wounds on his wife during the dispute, but this could not be confirmed by the police.
