Fire Brigade gets new board

FORMER assistant commissioner of police Neville Wheatle is the new chairman of the Jamaica Fire Brigade Board, Local Government Minister Dean Peart announced yesterday.

The other members of the board, announced by the minister yesterday, are:

. Jalil Dabdoub, businessman;

. Lt Col Daniel Pryce of the Jamaica Defence Force;

. Councillor Brenda Ramsay, Manchester Parish Council;

. Commissioner Fredrick Whyte, Jamaica Fire Brigade;

. Dr Marion Bullock-Ducasse, chief medical officer in the Ministry of Health; and

. Devon Rowe, permanent secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Environment.
