Cops on the hunt for 35 dangerous criminals in kgn

THE police on Thursday released the names/aliases of the 35 fugitives wanted in the Corporate Area for murder and shooting charges.

The majority of the fugitives, the police said, were wanted for crimes committed in the St Andrew North Police Division, where there has been an ongoing battle between members of the now splintered Common gang based on Red Hills Road.

Heading the list of wanted men is Lincoln Powell, also known as ‘Harry Dog’, who is suspected of involvement in the murder of Corporal Dave Daley, who was shot dead during a gunbattle at Brook Valley, St Andrew on February 12.

The other wanted men are:

. Richard Miller, also called ‘Worm’ – wanted for the murder of Robert Reid in Rockfort, East Kingston on November 22, last year.

. Eric Davis and a man known only as ‘Dwayne’ – wanted for the murder of Jannel King and shooting of three others in December 2006.

. Gregory Morris – wanted for the murder of brothers Steve Wright and Nokia Wright and injury of two others at Ricketts Crescent on January 14 this year.

. Denver Lyons, also called ‘Denver Pink’ and Javaughn Roberts – wanted for the murder of Robert Green along Red Hills Road in January.

. Conrad Johnson, also called ‘Rado’, – wanted for shooting.

. A man known only as ‘Watermouth’ – wanted for the shooting of police corporal Scarlette Biggs.

. A man known only as ‘Marlon’ – wanted for the murder of Durrant Allwood.

. Two men known as ‘Rem Rem’ and ‘Shaniel’ – wanted for the murder of Shane Johnson in the Kingston West Police Division in June last year.

. A man known as ‘Bap Bap’ – wanted for the double murder of Ronald Rose and Tracey-Ann Brown.

. Two men known only as ‘Billy’ and ‘Maurice’ – wanted for the murders of Nicolette Barrett and Kemar Davis in December last year.

. A man known only as ‘Romando’ – wanted for murder.

. Two men known only as ‘Tux’ and ‘Biggs’ – wanted for shooting with intent.

. A man known as ‘Spooner’ or ‘Spoogie’ – wanted for murder.

. A man known only as ‘Jermaine’ – wanted for murder.

. Two Stinger gang members known only as ‘Deavon’ and ‘Bryan’ – wanted for shooting.

. A man known only as ‘Shawn’ or ‘Coach’ – wanted for murder.

. Two men known only as ‘Dello’ and ‘Little D’ – wanted for shooting with intent.

. Two men known only as ‘Joe Joe’ and ‘Rupert’ – wanted for shooting.

. A man known only as ‘Bang’ – wanted for shooting with intent.

. A man known only as ‘Rue’ – wanted for murder.

. A man known only as ‘Wrenchman’ – wanted for murder.

. A man known only as ‘Ricky’ – wanted for murder.

. Three men known only as ‘John’, ‘Shotty Mark’ and ‘Jah Guy’ – wanted for murde;r and

. A man known only as ‘Ramacan’ – wanted for murder.

In the meantime, the police reported that they nabbed most wanted fugitive, Richard Simpson, also known as ‘Dinero’, during an operation in the Papine area of St Andrew on Wednesday night.

Simpson and his brother Ian, who is also in police custody were wanted for the November attack on Common strongman, Donovan ‘Cassie’ Downer. Downer was shot several times but survived the attack. However, 33-year-old Ezra Patrick, also called ‘Slicer’ was killed during the attack. Several others were shot and injured in the attack which started the self-destruction of the Common gang.
