82-y-o man on carnal abuse charge
AN 82-year-old pensioner, charged with the carnal abuse of a 14-year-old girl, who he has allegedly impregnated, is booked to face the Lucea Resident Magistrate’s Court today.
The accused, Rueben Gordon of Chichester in Hanover, was arrested on Saturday and slapped with the sexual offence charge by the Ramble police.
Allegations are that the teenage girl visited the accused at his home when he sexually assaulted her.
Two months later, the child was taken to hospital and diagnosed as being pregnant after her mother became suspicious after noticing that the girl’s breasts were swelling.
