Bogue dualisation to start in September – Azan
MONTEGO BAY, St James – Minister of State for Transport and Works Richard Azan, has given assurance that the dualisation of the problem plagued Bogue road, which has created massive traffic jams in the city in recent times, would begin in September.
He said prominent Montego Bay businessman Mark Kerr Jarrett had given permission to use his Bogue Industrial Estate property as a bypass until the project is complete.
Also, he said work had already started and would continue on the other problem areas of the North and South Gully and Queens Drive in the vicinity of El Greco.
Azan said he had instructed the National Solid Waste Agency and the Social Development Commission to put together a public education campaign aimed at cleaning up the city as this fallback had contributed to some of the problems.
