Police call meeting with Portland political reps
PORT ANTONIO, Portland – Superintendent Dudley Scott, head of the Portland police, has called a meeting with the parish’s political candidates and their managers for Saturday, beginning at 10:00 am.
The meeting will be held at the Port Antonio Police Station, where the divisional headquarters of the police is located.
The police say matters of concern include the behaviour of supporters at campaign meetings and tours.
The candidates are Dr Donald Rhodd (PNP) and Dennis Wright (JLP) for Portland East, and Abe Dabdoub (PNP) and Daryl Vaz (JLP) for Portland West.
The candidates have agreed to Saturday’s meeting with the police.
