‘Rum Bar Rum’
Rum drinkers, get ready to indulge in Jamaica’s newest Premium White Over Proof Rum, Rum-Bar Rum.
Coming from the new state-of-the art distillery at Worthy Park Estate in St Catherine, Rum-Bar Rum is made from cane grown 1200 feet above sea level and is said to possess a smoother, more flavourful taste.
It was announced on May 17 that a distribution agreement was signed naming Red Stripe the exclusive distributor of Rum-Bar Rum.
“Our extensive research shows that our product has a better taste and is preferred by the rum bar customers all over the island,” explained Marketing Communication Manager for Red Stripe, Kim Lee.
Rum-Bar Rum is the first branded product to be released by Worthy Park Estate.
” Rum-Bar Rum is an establishment and culture in Jamaica,” shares Lee. “The name of our rum speaks to the place where real rum drinkers enjoy their rum.”
No idle boast. This relatively new rum was spotted on the bar inside the magnificent Red Stripe booth at the recently concluded Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay.
Prices for the new rum are expected to be the same as or lower than the competition. The rum can be purchased by visiting the Worthy Park Estate’s retail centre at Ewarton St. Catherine, or by calling the distillery centre at 903-6103. The rum can also be purchased by calling the Red Stripe office customer service line at 923-5108.
