KATE BECKINSALE transformed into golden goddess

People Post

ANY man over a certain age would have fantasised about Princess Leia in her gold bikini at some stage during his adolesence. POST ITSDavid Beckham’s questionable Mohican Jennifer Lopez proves she’s no diva by lampooning her fall at the AMAs

And the look that struck a chord in every young boy’s heart after seeing Return of the Jedi appears to have been adopted by Kate Beckinsale for a new advertising campaign.

Looking like a cross between the Star Wars sex symbol and Jane Fonda’s Barbarella, the British actress strikes a sexy pose in a barely-there gold link two piece, complete with wrist cuffs and towering heels.

The photo is part of an advertising campaign for Absolut Vodka which launches four new drinks — Absolut Bloody, the Absolut Cosmo, the Absolut Crush and the Absolut Tonic Twist — at an exclusive party in New York on Thursday night.

The bikini shot will be used to promote Absolute Crush which is made using Absolut Mandarin, fresh orange juice and Triple Sec.

Miley Cyrus reveals her new tattoo

From posing topless for Vanity Fair to indulging in a steamy kiss on-screen, Miley Cyrus appears to be desperate to leave the squeaky-clean Hannah Montana behind. And judging from these latest pictures, her desire to shake off her fictional alter-ego couldn’t be more obvious as she strutted around a Florida hotel yesterday in a teeny bikini while showing off a recently inked tattoo. The 17-year-old singer was snapped enjoying a relaxing day with friends at the Fontainebleau Resort on Miami Beach as she lay by the pool having wrapped up her Wonder World world tour the night before. But it wasn’t the skimpy neon pink two-piece that attracted all the attention, but what appeared to be the words ‘Just Breathe’ tattooed in black ink on her ribcage just under her left breast. In theory, Miley is not legally allowed to have a tattoo as she is under 18, which is the legal age to be inked in the US. There was no word from Miley’s agent today to confirm whether the tattoo was a permanent or temporary one. — Daily Mail

It’s the greatest football tournament in the world. But as millions waited excitedly for the World Cup Finals draw for South Africa 2010 some of the biggest names in football were already locked in battle. Star players gathered in Cape Town in the lead-up to the draw to press the case for their respective countries to host the competition in 2018. Each of the ten contenders has sent their brightest and best. And with his sharp suit and dazzling smile, 34-year-old David Beckham is the perfect face of England. Apart from the hair. The 34-year-old father of three arrived with a hairstyle that lends itself more to an X Factor hopeful than an international ambassador of the beautiful game. — Daily Mail

She was left red-faced after taking a fall at the American Music Awards a couple of weeks ago. But Jennifer Lopez proved she’s not quite the diva she’s made out to be by lampooning her trip-up in a sketch on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. The 40-year-old singer and actress appeared to tumble down a flight of stairs in the skit, leaving the show’s audience roaring with laughter. J-Lo ends up at the bottom of the staircase as Ellen watches on — the sketch lampoons a real fall taken by the star at the AMA awards two weeks ago. When she hits the ground at the bottom of the stairs, ever the consummate professional, J-Lo simply gets to her feet and struts off to her dressing room. — Daily Mail
