Betting and gaming company Supreme Venture will soon be unveiling a new sports betting game called JustBet, where fans can wager and win by making predictions on their favourite sport.

Sonia Davidson, vicepresident Group Corporate Communications of Supreme Ventures, made the revelation at a media appreciation party at the Acropolis last Thursday.

“We will be rolling out very soon, so you can look out for it,” said Davidson.

“It will be in locations that are owned by Supreme Ventures then we will roll out to other locations across the island as soon as the amendment to the Betting & Gaming Act has been passed,” she noted.

“Every sports bar across the island, we will be there selling games that people can bet on,” Davidson added.

There are a variety of sports in which betting will be available, including the most popular football leagues around the world, NBA basketball, NFL, cricket and track and field.

Supreme Venture will be working with oversees-based betting company Intralot for which, Millicent Lynch will be the country manager.

Intralot is a Greek company that supplies integrated gaming and transaction processing systems, game content and sports betting management, to statelicensed gaming organisations worldwide.

Patrons who wish to play JustBet can visit the nearest Supreme Ventures Sports betting agent, where they will find JustBet programmes with all the events you can bet on and their possible outcomes. For each outcome, there are predetermined odds.

Patrons can bet as much as they like starting from as low as $50. For each prediction you choose, specific odds are offered and winnings will be multiplied by these odds.

How to play JustBet: Choose from the programme the events and predictions on which you want to bet. Each event has a specific threedigit code. The minimum and maximum number of events you can select in one bet are written on the programme; tell your agent or write on a special notepad the codes of your chosen events and your predictions for them as well as the amount you want to bet. The minimum bet is $50, but you can bet as much as you want, up to $50,000; the agent will validate your bet and give you a betting receipt. Keep the receipt as it is the only document to claim your winnings; if your predictions are correct, your bet wins. Your winnings are the amount you have bet, multiplied with the odds of your selected predictions. (For example: If you bet $1,000 and have selected three predictions with odd 3.20, 2.00 and 1.90, your winnings will be $1,000×3.20×2.00×1.90=$12,160).
