It’s action time for the stars
Come December 30, the Kirkvine Sports Complex, Williamsfield, Manchester will again be the location for the Ginger Lee venture, Stars in Action.
Among the acts down to perform this at year’s staging are Beenie Man, Mavado, Capleton, Bounty Killer, Jah Cure, Khago, I-Wayne, Yellow Man, Movado, Charlie Blacks, Busy Signal, General Degree, Macka Diamond, Charlie Chaplin, Terry Linen, Ken Boothe, Oneil Peart and Jah Mason.
Over the last several years, the event has built a reputation as a crowd-pleaser and the promoter is promising that this year will be no different.
“Its been a challenge with the economic conditions being what they are, but we’re up to the task and we’ve secured the participation of the artistes. It’s just left for the people to come out and have a good time as all the acts will be giving a hundred per cent. Everybody who has been on this show knows our standard and we expect everyone to live up to and exceed it,” he said.
There will be sound juggling by Black Love and the proceedings will be carried through by Richie B, Elise Kelly, Robert Sgt and Ron Muschette. A free shuttle will run from the Manchester Shopping Centre from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am
