Happy holidays for Jennifer Hudson

After her stunning turn over the weekend in MTV’s Hope For Haiti Now concert, Dreamgirls star Jennifer Hudson took a well-earned break in the Caribbean with her partner David Otunga.

The curvaceous singer, 28, gave birth to David Daniel — named after his lawyer-turned-WWE wrestler father — in August last year.

But clearly some quality couple time was a priority for the new parents. Jennifer Hudson with her fiancé were at the Atlantis Paradise Island while attending the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational in Nassau, Bahamas. The couple took a stroll along the sand and popped on life jackets before paddling out on the turquoise waters in a tandem inflatable kayak.

At the Hope For Haiti concert Jennifer performed a stunning rendition of Paul McCartney’s Let it Be at globally broadcast benefit which raised $58million for the quake-stricken country.

Later she said: ‘I’m just glad I didn’t forget the words!’

Hope for Haiti Now was a two-hour telethon hosted by George Clooney and Haitian-born musician Wyclef Jean. It featured performances from Los Angeles, New York City and London, featuring the likes of Madonna, Rihanna, Bono, Sting, Beyoncé and Coldplay.

Hudson is now on a much happier path following the brutal murders of the Oscar-winner’s 57-year-old mother, Darnell Donnerson, her 29-year-old brother, Jason Hudson and seven-year-old nephew Justin King.

Diff’rent Strokes star Gary Coleman arrested for domestic assault

Former child star Gary Coleman has been arrested on a charge of domestic assault.

The 41-year-old Diff’rent Strokes actor was booked at his home in Santaquin, Utah, after a civil disturbance, according to reports in the US.

The 4ft 8in star is currently being held on $1,725 bail at the Utah County Jail as a result of an outstanding warrant for a prior incident.

A source told website RadarOnline: ‘He’s been booked. He’s in the jail right now.’ The victim of the assault has not yet been revealed.

Tiger Woods’ British mistress pretended she was having golf lessons

The British mother-of-two named as Tiger Woods’ latest mistress concocted a story that she was having golf lessons to maintain their affair.

Emma Rotherham, a 42-year-old living near the shamed World No.1 golfer in Isleworth, Florida, invented the story to tell friends and family.

She claimed to be receiving tuition from an instructor called Jose, whereas she was in fact racing to Woods’ office in Windermere for sex sessions. It emerged Sunday that Miss Rotherham was paid more than $500,000 (£300,000) in hush money to keep quiet about their affair.

B and J in extremely rare show of affection as they hold hands (and oranges)

Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z take their privacy very seriously, possibly a bit too seriously sometimes.

They couple are rarely seen in romantic poses or even communicating their affection for each other.

So it came as a nice surprise to see them caught off-guard as they strolled through Nice airport hand in hand today.

But nothing is ever as it seems with this couple and on closer inspection, they actually appeared to be holding a couple of oranges. Weird, you got it.
