JCF personnel sent abroad for computer forensics training
ELEVEN police personnel consisting of various ranks will fly to Canada tomorrow to participate in a three-week computer forensics course. The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF)personnel will be hosted by the Canadian Police College, in Ottawa.
The course is designed especially for persons required to seize and analyse potential digital evidence found on computers and various communication devices including cellular telephones.
The course emphasises specialised forensic and practical skills necessary to recognise, recover, examine and document findings when dealing with personal computer systems.
