Clarks Town hunt 5th straight win
MARTHA BRAE, Trelawny — Former champions Clarks Town will be going after their fifth straight win in the Trelawny Football Association’s National Rums of Jamaica Major League today when they take on third-placed Holland United at the William Knibb field in Martha Brae.
Clarks Town are off to a fast start, winning their first four games to sit on top of the standings with maximum 12 points, three more than second-placed Harmony, the only other unbeaten team in the competition, who won their first three games.
Clarks Town, who won the Trelawny Major League two years ago, spent just one season in the Western Confederation Super League, but have dominated the Major League so far, conceding just one goal in their four outings.
Harmony will also be in action seeking to keep their record perfect when they travel to Sea Road to face eighth-placed Flames.
The other game on today will see Palmento and Duanvale both on six points meeting at the Elliston Wakeland Centre.
Three more games are set for tomorrow — Dromilly vs Granville; Sherwood taking on Kinloss at Duanvale and Upsetters meeting Spicy Hill at Carey Park.
