Just weeks after ending her one-year relationship with Jamie Kennedy, it appears Jennifer Love Hewitt has opted for a popular heartbreak cure — cutting her hair. The actress, 31, has cut her previous flowing long locks into a wavy bob.

Hewitt and Kennedy, 39, confirmed their split two weeks ago, but will still continue to work together on their television show The Ghost Whisperer.

The couple started dating in March last year — just three months after Hewitt ended her engagement to Scottish actor Ross McCall, whom she dated for three years.

Hewitt admitted she was uneasy about being single again, declaring she prefers to be in relationships: “I’m not into, ‘Let’s go out with one guy on a Monday and another guy on a Wednesday’, that’s just not me.”

For the average person a pair of hiking boots or similarly thick-soled footwear would suffice, but Russell Brand and his fiancée Katy Perry made a somewhat impractical choice for their rocky adventure — flip-flops.

The couple took a trip to Griffith Park in Los Angeles, where they hiked up to the park’s observatory. Both Brand, 34, and Perry, 25, had flip-flops on their feet as they trekked up the rocky incline to the observatory which offers stunning panoramic views of Los Angeles – from the Hollywood sign, to the city’s downtown area and Santa Monica.

She recently starred in a film called Motherhood alongside Uma Thurman, and it seems Minnie Driver is enjoying the role off screen too.

The actress was spotted doting over her two-year-old son Henry, whom she describes as “the happiest, funniest and sweetest” child, in Malibu over the weekend. The pair threw coins into a wishing well as they wandered around Cross Creek shopping centre near her beachside home.

Minnie, who endured high-profile splits with John Cusack and Matt Damon, has always refused to reveal the identity of her child’s father.

The 40-year-old hasn’t ruled out having more children, telling the Times last month: “Growing up, I thought I’d have at least five kids.”
