ZJ Liquid to entertain Champs fans tomorrow
ONE of the most highly anticipated events on the sporting calendar each year is undoubtedly the GraceKennedy ISSA Boys & Girls Championships. The annual event is now in its 100th staging and has attracted record crowds. The organisers have spared no time in ensuring that these sold-out games have been expertly executed and that fans from all across the world, are satisfied, excited and even well entertained.
To bring the curtains down on the event, the premier sporting event will partner with one of Jamaica’s leading disc jockeys to steer a closing ceremony that is sure to be memorable and exhilarating. Michael Brissett, popularly known as ZJ Liquid, will be the guest selector tomorrow at the National Stadium as the book closes on the 100th staging.
According to the ace DJ, he has an entire catalogue of music planned for the crowd at Champs.
“Champs fans are certainly in for a treat this Saturday. In keeping with the high energy of the games and the excitement created over the past week, I will be unleashing some equally upbeat mixes that will find delight with all the patrons, young and not so young,” ZJ Liquid said.
“This is a historic event, I am pleased to be a part of it and will definitely try to surpass the expectations of me come Saturday,” he added.
