Pupa Jesus
Dear Editor,
I heard this story from a minister giving a Lenten message when he referred to the efficacy of prayer and suggested that we do not pray enough. He then told us of the prayer of an old lady who sent it up to Pupa Jesus.
Here is her prayer: Pupa Jesus, you know I am an old lady without any teeth and you know what was given to me to eat – fried dumplings, which I cannot eat and Pupa Jesus, I am hungry.
Well, instant response: within five minutes a little girl appeared with a bowl of soup saying that her mother had sent her with it because as she was sharing out the soup her mind had ran on the woman. You see instant response. The Lord answers immediately when there is urgent need.
This should be a lesson to all of us that we may or may not get instant answers from the Master, but we know that He hears and in due course or season His answer will come, so let us all continue praying to Pupa Jesus.
