Kim Kardashian has laughed at a prank by pal Nicole Richie who hacked into her beloved Twitter account and posted some rather naughty messages.

The reality star looked like she meant business as she stepped out in New York.

Clad in an olive green asymmetrical dress, the reality star was pictured arriving at ABC Studios for an appearance on the US show, Live with Regis and Kelly.

But the socialite’s appearance came after she revealed she was the victim of a Twitter account hijack by 28-year-old mother of two Richie.

Richie got hold of Kim’s password with the help of Kim’s sister Khloe and posted Tweets under Kardashian’s name.

Kim, 29, told Us magazine: ‘Nicole twittered it was her and we were emailing! She admitted it. Nicole totally pranked me when I thought no one could fool me on April Fools’!’

Busy Richie took over her fiancé Joel Madden’s account as well, writing to Paula Abdul, ‘I wanna smell your armpits’ and to Disney star Ashley Tisdale, ‘Hubba hubba.’

Kardashian got her Twitter back Friday morning and admitted: “That was hands down the funniest April Fools’!!!”

Rihanna wows American Idol viewers with an explosive performance in an ultra-tight PVC catsuit

On Wednesday night Rihanna, whose latest labum is entitled Rated R, showed why she’s one of pop’s biggest stars.

The 22-year-old appeared on American Idol wearing an all-in-one PVC catsuit with huge shoulder pads to perform her new single Rockstar 101.

With Lady Gaga setting such high standards, she showed her competitive edge in an ultra-tight outfit which had to work hard to contain her contours as she prowled around on stage.

The song features Slash of Guns ‘N’ Roses fame although he was absent from the performance, replaced by a motley crew of substitutes.

Surrounded by flames and a video screen displaying familiar rock icons like guitars, lightning bolts and skulls, the much anticipated appearance certainly seemed to live up to its hype.

Sliding across the stage and interacting with backing singers, Rihanna made sure that her first American Idol performance was one to remember.

Demi, a mother of four, is often said to have had upwards of £200,000 worth of plastic surgery in order to keep her figure looking its best.

But although she admits she has undergone some surgery, she says the amount she has spent has been vastly overestimated.

“I have had something done but it’s not on my face,” she told Elle magazine.
