Harmony cruise into Trelawny mid-season final
KINLOSS, Trelawny — Former champions Harmony secured their place in the mid-season final of the Trelawny Football Association’s National Rums of Jamaica Major League after edging Kinloss 1-0 on Thursday.
The win carried Harmony to 24 points and to the top of the points tables on goal difference ahead of Clarks Town who they will meet in the April 17 play-off at the Elliston Wakeland Centre.
Harmony have a goal difference of 13, one more than Clarks Town, both having played 11 games and completed their first round schedule.
Clarks Town had completed their first round a day earlier by beating Palmento United 4-0.
Holland moved into third spot, two points behind the leaders after a 3-0 win over Granville, while Duanvale and Dromilly drew 0-0.
Meanwhile, three rescheduled games will be played tomorrow — Flames will host Dromilly at Sea Road, Palmento and Granville meet at Elliston Wakeland and Upsetters and Sherwood face off at Carey Park.
Two more games will be played Wednesday to complete the first round.
