‘He punched me in the face and told me I needed liposuction’

Kim K’s marriage hell revealed for first time

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian suffered domestic violence at the hands of her ex-husband Damon Thomas, according to allegations in newly uncovered court papers. The socialite, who is back in the U.S. after a promotional visit to Australia, claimed the music producer repeatedly beat her and demanded to know where she was at every minute of the day. Kim, now 29, eloped to Las Vegas, and married Thomas, now 39, in January 2000 – when she was just 19. They split three years later.

Thomas’s controlling personality is laid bare by Kim in the couple’s divorce papers, which were filed at Los Angeles Superior Court back in 2003. According to the documents, Thomas would punch her in the face, slam her against walls and throw her across the room, leaving her bruised and battered. His alleged bullying was so terrible he gave her $3,650 to get liposuction because he wanted her to be ‘perfect’ – then gave her an additional $1,000 for further surgery. Thomas, who has worked with artists such as Lionel Richie and Pink, even forced Kim to quit jobs and college, poisoned her mind against her own family and would not let her see her friends, the papers claim. At the time of their quickie Vegas wedding she was working as a salesgirl at a Los Angeles shop called Body, but her new husband soon made her quit the job. ‘He said he did not want me to have contact with my old boyfriends who would be able to reach me at the clothing store,’ she said. ‘He said he wanted to know where I was at all times.’ According to Kim, her music producer husband wanted her at his beck and call – and even demanded that she cook him food when he arrived home at 4.30am. She claims he would not let her spend time with her family and friends, started arguments at family gatherings and tried to convince her that her mother and sister were ‘evil’.

He allegedly showed naked pictures of one of Kim’s sisters to her father, branding the siblings ‘whores’, and constantly wanted to know where Kim was. ‘For example, he would not allow me to go to the mall alone, or with friends. He told me that he did not want men to have an opportunity to “hit” on me. He would not allow me to go out to dinner with friends I have known since I was a child. If Damon were not home, I was required to call him and ask permission to leave the house.’ According to the explosive court papers, Thomas’s abuse did not end there – and he started hitting her just a few months after they were married. While Kim stood at just 5ft3in and weighed 107lbs, her husband towered over her at 5ft10in and 175lbs. Their marriage was officially dissolved in February 2004 and Thomas was ordered to give Kim a one-off payment of $56,000. Kim has since dated R&B star Ray J and American football player Reggie Bush. She has recently been spotted on cosy dates with Real Madrid soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Is Jessica dieting again? Yo-yo singer Simpson is spotted carrying a carton of oh-so-trendy coconut water

Her weight has been up and down over the years and Jessica Simpson recently claimed she is finally content with her size.

But the singer was pictured with a carton of coconut water in New York yesterday, raising suspicions that she is still concerned with staying on top of her diet. Wearing a green patterned mini dress with a grey jacket and grey strappy heels, plus a large white bag, Jessica, 29, was seen leaving the Ritz Carlton hotel in the city’s midtown district carrying a carton of Vita Coco. The drink has become one of the latest celebrity fads in the U.S. with a growing list of stars subscribing to it to try and reap the natural benefits.

According to the company’s website, the liquid is obtained from green coconuts (as opposed to fully ripened brown ones), so the liquid is very similar to water, and not the cloudy, milky substance found in the matured fruits.Because of this, the liquid contains virtually no fat, and can therefore be used as part of a balanced diet to aid weight loss. On top of this it can help speed up the body’s metabolism and increase energy, particularly useful for those who partake in regular personal fitness and exercise routines.

The drink has its fair share of celebrity fans, including Madonna who loves it so much she has invested $1.5million into the company that produces Vita Coco. Demi Moore, Matthew McConnaughy and Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis have also invested ‘significant’ sums of money into the drink. Since the news of Madonna’s investment broke, several U.S. stars have been pictured with the product, including Courteney Cox, Chris Pine, Anna Paquin, Ed Westwick, Karolina Kurkova and Kristin Cavallari – some of whom have picked up different brands of coconut water.

Lindsay Lohan dubs father ‘devil’s advocate’ after he calls police to check on teen sister

The feuding Lohans are at the centre of another family drama after Lindsay’s father staged an ‘intervention’ with the help of armed police. Linday called her father the ‘devil’s advocate’ after he burst into her apartment with three officers yesterday claiming he was concerned for the welfare of his 16-year-old daughter Ali. Michael Lohan went to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and police officers then accompanied Mr Lohan to Lindsay’s Hollywood apartment building where she was forced to open the door to them. Mr Lohan said a friend had told him his daughters were in a car that was driving back from the Coachella music festival at more than 100mph. ‘That was the straw that broke the camel’s back,’ he said.

He claims that she was in a car with Lindsay ‘driving around 115 miles per hour coming back from Palm Springs at 2:30 in the morning.’ Following the impromptu visit Lindsay raged on Twitter: ‘My ‘ex-dad’ just walked into my apt like the devil’s advocate with officers. ‘Let’s not forget that my father kidnapped me from a court room when I was 4 years old and is crazy,’ she ranted. ‘He has never paid child support and is marrying a tabloid writer and can barely spell his own name due to his ‘brain’ that has been ruined due to his alleged drug use. When will it ever end… it’s been going on my whole life with him – hasn’t he caused enough pain?’ Michael told website Radar Online, Ali asked him: ‘What are you doing dad?’ and she started crying.

But warring ex-wife Dina Lohan expressed her ‘fear’ for her daughters and claimed that the concerned father didn’t even recognise his own daughter. Michael walked into the apartment, looked right at Ali and said, I’m looking for my daughter Ali, is she here?’ Dina told RadarOnlne.com. ‘I’m in shock right now. I can’t really speak. I’m petrified for my girls and their safety.’ Dina claimed that Lindsay and Ali are ‘afraid’ of their father, and that she has had a ‘protection order in place since 2005 and it stands until 2011.

They are so afraid for their lives. My ex-husband is dangerous.’ But Mr Lohan has said he will not stop until he convinces Lindsay to check into rehab for what he claims is a substance abuse problem. He told a celebrity news blog he will not leave LA ‘until Ali is removed from Lindsay’s home and has a normal life of a 16-year-old.’
