Boys Club on a roll in Division One
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Montego Bay Boys Club continued to distance themselves from the pack in Zone B of the Claro St James Division One after blanking Seaview 2-0 in their return-round game at the UDC field last Thursday.
Goals from Lovell Jonas in the first half and Carston Grey in the 88th minute carried them to their sixth win in seven starts and 19 points, well clear of the rest of the teams as the next best team is on six points
Lowly placed Upsetters scored their second win of the season, coming from behind to outscore Westgreen 4-3 at the UDC field.
Phillip McDonald scored twice for Upsetters in the 27th and 38th to give them the lead after Floyd Collins had given Westgreen the lead in the 13th.
Jason Malcolm then tied it up for Westgreen in the 44th, but goals from Charles Dove in the 49th and Damion James in the 72nd restored Upsetters’ advantage before Andrew Smith’s 75th-minute goal pulled the resilient Westgreen within a goal.
In the other game played Little Miami and Juniors drew 0-0.
