Western Consciousness returns
One of the island’s top conscious Reggae stage shows returns to the entertainment calendar this year. The event which is staged by the legendary promoter Worrell King, Will see a full slate of artistes taking to the stage at Paradise Park in Westmoreland on May 22. The launch was held in Kingston and here are highlights.
1 – Top acts billed, from Left Tarrus Riley, Capleton and Lutan Fyah, share a moments for the cameras.
2 – Dancehall artiste Chino (right) collects a plaque from promoter Worrel King, on behalf of his father Freddy McGregor. The older McGregor was being recognised for his contribution to Reggae.
3 – One of the acts for this year’s show, Turbulence, takes to the stage.
