Promoters in overdrive for Life Fest 2k10

This and other intense messages will reverberate throughout the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre when the curtains go up for the second annual staging of Carlyle Foundation’s Life Fest Peace & Love Concert 2010 tonight.
It is all systems go for Jazmine Sullivan to “bust the windows out your car” and for Queen Ifrica to take you on a journey to Montego Bay. The every energetic Alison Hinds will show us why she is the self-proclaimed Caribbean Queen as I-Octane will take us on a musical journey through coronation market. The ever electrifying King Shango is sure to keep the fire blazing as the triple threat Konshens, Chino and Laden represent for the new ‘skool’ and show us why they are the best.
Other acts for the night are sure to keep the high energy flowing throughout the proceedings with patrons receiving value for money. Event Coordinator D Escoffery of D’Empire Management admits that the venue was changed in keeping with an attempt at perfecting the art of entertainment by showcasing top international talents including the phenomenal Marley duo Damion and Stephen, Tosh 1, Jazmine Sullivan, Queen Ifrica, Alison Hinds, Liam Bailey, Capleton, I Octane, Richie Spice, Konshens, Chino, Laden, Nioma, Briggy, Tajji & Spragga Benz.
The event will be hosted by Jamaica’s own DJ Bambino and Free, 106 & Park’s first lady, while emcees will be Isis and Burger.
“This event is very dear to the foundation’s cause with the main purpose being to ‘Preserve the youth…Preserve the future. In fact, all proceeds from the show will be utilised to assist deserving high/secondary school achievers who have demonstrated the ability to excel academically,” stated D Escoffery.
He added “We were elated with the turnout last year and the way the event progressed. There are several things including the addition of a VIP area that we are working on to make the second staging better and we hope we can accommodate the larger crowds that are expected. This staging is made more special with the partnership of our sponsors Boomtunes, Spragga Benz Music, D’Empire Management, Team Force Audio, Ghetto Youths International, the Star, Grace Kennedy, Yardflex.com, RE TV, Nesta Brand, Hype TV, Sign Channel, Events R Us and Dancehallreggaeweseh.com”
Gates open at 7:00pm and show time kicks off at 10:00 pm.
