JNMS partners with Courts to expand Money Transfer locations
JN Money Services Limited (JNMS) and Courts Jamaica have inked a deal that now makes Courts an agent of the remittance company.
The partnership adds another 28 locations to the JNMS-owned JN International Money Transfer spread across the island, which already includes 57 access points in JN branches, JN Money Shops and JN Money Shop Xpress establishments as well as JN Money Transfer agents throughout Jamaica.
“This union will definitely bolster our service,” said Leesa Kow, general manager of JNMS.
“In addition to accessing funds from any one of our JN or agent locations, customers can now walk into the nearest Courts store to collect their remittances,” he added.
Customers can either collect cash or have the funds placed on to their JN Money Transfer cards at Courts, which can be used in a manner similar to debit cards to transact business.
“This will provide our customers with improved access, convenience and quality customer service from Monday to Saturday and at select Courts stores, such as Constant Spring Road, on Sundays,” she stated.
Hayden Singh, managing director of Courts Jamaica, said the new partnership with JN Money Services is a valuable one that will create tremendous opportunities and benefits for the customers of both companies. He says the partnership will increase customer flow through Courts stores and provide convenience for both JN Money Transfer and Courts customers.
“Our clients will welcome the opportunity to access funds in a context with which they are already familiar,” stated Singh, adding that he believed “…this is the kind of synergy that Jamaicans will welcome with open arms”.
Kow concurred that the partnership with Courts, “Is a good example of how companies can create synergies to identify and capitalise on opportunities.” She also noted that there was a lot to be gained from forming strategic partnerships such as this, “as it allows us to extend our reach to customers locally and sets the foundation for more tangible products and benefits to be created”.
