Windies crash out of T/20 World Cup
THE West Indies produced another woeful display to crash out of the T/20 World Cup cricket tournament in St Lucia today.
The hosts were handed another heavy defeat by the mighty Australians, (107 for 4), who easily bypassed their score of 106 all out in 19 overs.
It was another pathetic display by the hosts whose batsmen failed miserably to challenged the unbeaten Australians with only the Guyanese pair of Ramnaresh Sarwan and Chivnarine Chanderpaul getting into double figures.
Apart from a few early hiccups the Australians strode confidently to victory with Brad Haddin, 42 anchoring the innings.
The Australian win has set up a potential semi-final humdinger with defending champions Pakistan on Thursday.
