Tomorrow’s People hunt second win
TUCKER, St James –Tomorrow’s People will be going after their second win in the cross-zone third round of the St James Football Association’s Claro Senior League today when they take on Salt Spring Roses at Tucker.
Tomorrow’s People, who lead Zone B with 24 points, had earlier beaten Salt Spring United 2-0 on Thursday and another win today would see them increasing their lead over Fogo United who are six points adrift, both from 11 games.
Revelation, who lost the lead in Zone A after being edged 1-0 by Melbourne FC on Thursday, could retain that position ahead of Barrett Town on goal difference today if they can beat North Gully Ambassadors in their game at the UDC field.
Revelation FC are on 19 points, three behind the leaders, but a win would see them edging in front on goal difference.
At Sam Sharpe Teachers College, Zone B third-placed team Granville City will be hoping to enjoy home advantage over Salt Spring United.
Salt Spring United, who had put up a good showing in their loss, could move into second place in Zone A with a win.
The Claro Division One will continue tomorrow with two games — Champions against Upsetters at Albion and Montego Bay Boys Club against Juniors FC at the UDC field.
