Heineken adds flavour to Champions League final
HEINEKEN will be adding its own flavour to the UEFA Champions League finals this Saturday when it joins forces with popular watering holes across the island during the broadcast.
Heineken will be hosting patrons at sports bars including Cuddyz, the Acropolis, Twisted Kilt, The Pub, Unique Rides and John Crows.
In addition, the brand will be throwing its own viewing event at Dump Up Beach, Montego Bay, where the large LCD screen will be erected on the venue to show the game.
Keri Ann McKenzie, brand manager for Heineken, said the UEFA Championships offer an ideal opportunity for the brand to interact with sports fans.
“Heineken is well known over the world for partnering with entertainment events. We view the UEFA Champions League as a premier sporting event that gives us an opportunity to connect with football lovers locally and internationally,” McKenzie said.
“We will continue to create our own Heineken viewing occasions for UEFA this Saturday, that’s why we included the free viewing at Dump Up Beach in Montego Bay, equipped with big screen TVs, specials on Heineken and many giveaways, ” she added.
Promoter Darren Virtue has also come on board to extend the Heineken Star Lounge Experience to the patrons.
“Football fans are in for a whale of a time with the Heineken Star Lounge experience. If you want to enjoy the match in a comfortable, exciting setting, now is the chance,” Virtue commented.
The UEFA Champions League finals between German giants Bayern Munich and Inter Milan of Italy is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm with a pre-game show.
Heineken will have two for one draught and bottle specials as well as many prizes and surprises.
