CTL adjusts post times for Lotto Classic raceday
HORSERACING promoters Caymanas Track Limited (CTL), in association with raceday sponsors Supreme Ventures Limited, has brought post times for tomorrow’s 12-race Lotto Classic raceday forward by an hour.
The changes have been occasioned by the current civil unrest in the country and the need to exercise caution among CTL’s patrons and stakeholders.
Post times have now been adjusted to the following times: Race 1 — 11:00 am; Race 2 — 11:35 am; Race 3 — 12:05 pm; Race 4 — 12:40 pm; Race 5 — 1:10 pm; Race 6 — 1:45 pm; Race 7 — 2:15 pm; Race 8 — 2:45 pm; Race 9 — 3:15 pm; Race 10 — 3:50 pm; Race 11 — 4:25 pm (THE LOTTO CLASSIC); Race 12 — 5:00 pm.
The Lotto Classic Race Day was postponed from Labour Day, Monday, May 24 to tomorrow due to a state of emergency which was declared and which affected the general movement of persons in the Corporate Area of Kingston and St Andrew — a significant slice of the live and Off-Tracking betting public of thoroughbred racing in Jamaica.
The normal schedule of simulcast English and American racing will be conducted at the usual times and patrons can join local races at Caymanas Park or at their nearest OTB parlour for Lotto Classic Race Day 2010.
