Harbour View off to Antigua friendly
FRESH on the heels of securing their third lien on the Digicel Premier League (DPL) trophy, Harbour View FC will travel to Antigua this afternoon for a friendly match against Barracuda FC set on Sunday, starting at 7:30 pm.
Barracuda FC is a newly accepted expansion team that will be competing in the United Soccer League Division One in the 2011 season.
Harbour View’s 21-man delegation, which is being led by general manager Clyde Jureidini, will be without head coach Donovan Hayles who is overseas on family commitments.
Andrew ‘Bowa’ Hines will assume coaching duties in the absence of Hayles, who guided two-time CFU Club champions Harbour View to 23 wins from 38 outings in the DPL.
The other members of the management staff who will be making the trip to Antigua are equipment manager Carnel Austin and Jermaine Malcolm.
The 17 players are: captain Richard Edwards, Michaud Barrett, Nicholas Beckett, Marcelino Blackburn, John-Ross Edwards, Kavin Bryan, Fabian Campbell, Andre Steele, Andre Fagan, Jaron Johnson, Montrose Phinn, Kimarlee Brissett, Jahmali Spence, Rafeik Thomas, Dicoy Williams, Davian Woodhouse, and Jermaine Hue.
