18-y-o killed in car accident
A two-vehicle collision claimed the life of a teenager in St James this morning.
Eighteen-year-old Raphael McKenzie of Lilliput in the parish, was killed when the Nissan Skyline in which he was travelling drove into the path of a Nissan Sunny motorcar, which was exiting Flanker.
McKenzie died on the spot.
Another teen, 18-year-old Adrian Grizzle, was the driver of the Nissan Skyline. He and the other passenger, Ricardo White, who is also 18, sustained multiple injuries.
The occupants of the Nissan Sunny, Troy and Shenielle Jones, both 24, and their one-year-old son, also sustained multiple injuries.
The five, all from Lilliput, St James, were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were admitted. All except Grizzle are said to be in stable condition. Grizzle is unconscious.
The Montego Bay police are investigating.
