Saying goodbye on the anchor
When the next episode of The Anchor comes on Monday night, one of the finalists must say goodbye because of the votes of the viewers. John Public becomes the ultimate judge in determining who survives for another round.
Now that the finalists have had to do the ‘real thing’, armours of steel have started to crack and those with the true mettle have started to show their potential.
The next episode will be a visual spectacle with the unveiling of The Anchor’s own set with structural designs done by Lori McIntosh, a young architect. With the guidance of the producer, a first world image will be invested in the studio of Palm Productions.
The remaining six finalists will have an opportunity to present real stories of hard news, sports and entertainment. The exercise will not only test their oratorical skills but also measure their journalistic skills since they must write their own stories to match video shot on location.
The Anchor continues to heat up as the finalist are now under the glare of the judges, but more so that of the television audience whose votes determine who goes home each week.
Catch The Anchor on Mondays at 9:00 pm with a repeat broadcast on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.
