Tivoli Gardens post-mortems begin tomorrow
POST-mortems on the bodies of those killed during the operation by security forces in West Kingston, will begin tomorrow. The Police are inviting the relatives of those killed to appoint independent pathologists to observe the process. Alternatively they may do so via the Office of the Public Defender and Jamaicans for Justice.

Albums with photographs of the dead will be displayed at the Police Complaints Office at the Tivoli Gardens Health Centre as well as 14 Metcalfe Street and the Denham Town Police Station.
The post-mortems will be conducted at the Spanish Town Funeral Home, Spanish Town Hospital Morgue and Madden’s Funeral Home. The Police will provide transportation to and from the morgue.
Relatives this morning gathered outside Madden’s Funeral Home demanding to be able to identify the bodies of their family members.
