Get Tessanne’s sizzling new do!
Sultry songstress Tessanne Chin is not only known for her powerful vocals but also for her edgy fashion sense and fabulous mane. We’ve seen her rock dark waves, highlights and flaming red, but she recently went über glam with a sleek and sizzling raven hairdo. We just had to recreate it for Frances!
If you don’t have Frances’ hair type don’t despair…we’ll tell you how to Get The Look anyway so you too can be just as fab! Here’s how.
While Frances was a bit sceptical about wearing bangs, she was so excited about channelling Tessanne’s sleek new look that she shampooed her hair and headed down to Stafai’s for her transformation.
Since her hair was pre-prepped (shampooed), Stacy combed it out and cut the bangs to start the process.
She then applied Black & Sassy Oil Sheen Crème and used a blow dryer and round brush to straighten Frances’ wavy kinks.
The look was further enhanced with a Conair ceramic flat iron to give her tresses a sleek finish and then trimmed, sprayed with Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Sheen Spray…
And voila! The ultimate transformation! We think it’s a great way to spice up your look without getting a drastic haircut.
How can you get the look?
1. The fringe – Start by shampooing or relaxing your hair if necessary and if you don’t have bangs, you can part a section to the front of your face and cut your hair, but make sure it is straight and use sharp scissors for best results. If you don’t want to cut your hair, you can always get a professional hairstylist to put a few ‘tracks’ in for you.
2. The Mane – Blow-dry your hair to remove kinks and flat-iron. When it is straightened, clip away any broken or uneven ends. You can curl the ends under if you so desire. If your hair is short, you can ask your stylist to put some extensions or a weave in, but ensure that it is properly done.
3. Wear it with confidence and watch every head turn.
