If you love fashion, then you love Sex and the City, and chances are you were lined up early to get your tickets to see the latest instalment of the girls looking fabulous and inspiring fashionistas all around the world.

SATC 2 certainly did not disappoint when it came to the fashion, and succeeded in evoking gasps from the audience in scene after scene of stunning fashion and accessories.

Last week we made two looks inspired by Carrie and Miranda, and this week we continue with looks inspired by the “sexy siren” Samantha and the consummate housewife and mum, Charlotte.

Michelle’s fashion style is similar to Samantha’s, sexy chic, and she wears a sexy jumper, belted and dressed up with gold accessories. To make the jumper, simply:

o Cut back and front pieces for a tubed top

o Cut back and front of trousers

o Join inner legs front to back

o Join front to back at sides

o Join top to bottom

o Insert 1 1/2 inch elastic at top of jumper

o Insert 1/4 inch elastic in the hem at legs

Angelie’s style is classic 50s, very much like Charlotte’s, and she wears a shift dress in Dupioni silk. A shift is a great basic style that can vary using different fabrics, trimmings and accessories. Angelie’s shift is belted and we attached a bow for added interest. The bow can be removed to simplify the look.
