American tabloid publishes Gary Coleman’s deathbed photo

American tabloid The Globe published a shocking front cover this week – with a picture of Gary Coleman during his last hours – sparking outrage throughout the world.

In the photograph Coleman can be seen on his hospital bed, hooked up to equipment whilst his ex-wife Shannon Price poses next to him.

The headline shouts ‘It was murder’ and credits the picture as the ‘Last photo’.

Dion Mial, Coleman’s ex-manager and the current court-appointed executor of his will, claims Price sold the morbid picture in an ‘ongoing desperate attempt’ to garner publicity and profit from her late ex- husband’s death. It has been estimated that the picture was sold for US$10,000.

In addition to allegedly selling the picture to Globe magazine, Price profited from an interview she shot the day after Coleman died. Following the sale of that interview Price was shopping around another one for US$50,000.

But it looks like Price may be set to benefit after all.

She has applied to be appointed special administrator of his estate, on the basis that she was his common-law wife – a status recognised by law in the state of Utah. In support of this, Price has also submitted what she claims is an addendum to a later will, in which she is named as sole beneficiary.

The 2007 handwritten document, modifies a 2006 will, which was not signed, leading to doubts about its validity.

Coleman was hospitalised May 26th following an accident at his Utah home. He suffered a brain haemorrhage and subsequently slipped into a coma.

He died two days later after Price made the decision to remove him from life support.

Miley Cyrus reveals her lingerie in a transparent dress as she shoots new video

Miley Cyrus put on a display of sheer daring while shooting a video clip in LA on Thursday.

The 17-year-old star was spotted running barefoot around a car park in a transparent sundress that revealed her cream bra and knickers.

The Hannah Montana star later changed into another cotton dress that she teamed with a belt and boots.

In a scene that might make her Australian boyfriend, actor Liam Hemsworth, squirm just a little, she was also seen passionately kissing a handsome male co-star.

Miley is back in the U.S. after a gruelling international schedule that saw her visit and perform in the UK and Spain.

The star, who is promoting her new album, Can’t Be Tamed, certainly made an impression during the tour. At the Rock In Rio Festival in Spain, the Disney star cavorted around on stage in very revealing outfits.

She also created a storm after simulating a lesbian kiss on the family show, Britain’s Got Talent.

John Goodman shows off his shrinking frame at awards ceremony in Los Angeles

He’s made his name as an overweight, larger-than-life character throughout his Hollywood career.

But the pounds have been falling off portly actor John Goodman as he showed off a slimmer physique at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 57-year-old looked almost half the man he was just under a year ago as he attended the AFI Life Achievement Award party.

The actor, who shot to fame in the 90s as Roseanne Barr’s long-suffering husband Dan Conner on the sitcom Roseanne, looked happy and healthy as he posed on the red carpet.

And the weight loss was all too obvious, his tuxedo fitting him perfectly, with not a bulge in sight.

The event, held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, was in honour of director Mike Nichols.

The actor’s weight, which is known to fluctuate, has been the subject of many showbiz columns and stories over the years. But yesterday, the 6ft 3in actor’s slimmer figure was a far cry from the obesity he has struggled with.
