The President of the United States might be the basketball player in the family. But it was the Obama women who turned out en masse as surprise attendees at the Lakers Vs Boston Celtics game last night.

First Lady Michelle Obama, 46, daughters Sasha, 9, Malia, 11, and Mrs Obama’s mother Marian Robinson, 72, pitched up at Game 6 of the intensely competitive NBA Finals. While the games typically attract a huge celebrity turnout, all of Hollywood was abuzz with the news that the Obama ladies were in town. All eyes were on the group as they enjoyed the penultimate game in the series from a private box at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Even the presence of Black Eyed Peas singer Will.I.Am in their box, also intensely watching the game, couldn’t shift the limelight from the group who were being openly filmed by many spectators on their mobile phones.

Mrs Obama was presented with a Lakers jersey by a club official, and fans clamoured to talk to the First Lady who seemed more than happy to accomodate them. While husband Barack concerned himself with the weighty matters of office – namely the BP oil spill – Michelle and her brood, who have just begun their summer holidays, have been enjoying a whistlestop visit to LA.

But while her husband’s love for the sport is well documented, it’s not that unusual for the First Lady to show an interest in the game. Brother Craig Robinson is the head coach of the Oregon State Beavers. Mrs Obama watched the Los Angeles Lakers extend the NBA finals to a decisive seventh game with a 89-67 victory over the Boston Celtics

Miley Cyrus reveals new ‘LOVE’ tattoo on her right ear

She already has the words “Just Breathe” inked across her ribcage, now Miley Cyrus has revealed yet another tattoo.

The 17-year-old Hannah Montana star has had “LOVE” etched onto the inside of her right ear, perhaps as a tribute to her Australian boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, 20. The pair were seen flying out of Los Angeles airport yesterday and Miley’s new branding was clearly on show.

The couple met while filming The Last Song in 2009. “The last thing I was expecting to do was fall in love,” she has said. “But I guess God was like, ‘Girl, here is this amazing guy.’ Liam has become my best friend in the whole wide world. I love him.” Earlier this month Miley denied reports the pair had split up due to her jealously of his rising success.

Eva Longoria Parker doesn’t care who sees her underwear

Eva Longoria Parker has a body to be proud of.

And it seems that she is, as she walked around set showing off her curvy frame in knickers and a vest top. The actress was filming her new movie Without Men in Santa Barbara, California.

She stood at the door of her trailer in her underwear and bare feet, before slipping into slippers and a loose wrap. Even then she didn’t bother tying it, walking around set with the dressing gown undone. Eva is filming an adaptation of James Canon’s novel Tales From The Town Of Widows in which she stars as Rosalba viuda de Patiño alongside Christian Slater.

The film tells the story of a remote Latin-American village where the female inhabitants are left to fend for themselves after the male inhabitants are forcibly recruited by a band of Communist rebels.
