Hawkeye links with used car dealers
HAWKEYE marketing director Stephen Roomes (left) greets JIIC marketing manager Elizabeth Chung at the recent Jamaica Used Car Dealers Association’s (JUCDA) partnership press conference with Hawkeye Security held at the Pegasus hotel. Looking on is JUCDA president Ian Lyn.
Hawkeye has brokered a deal with the JUCDA to install tracking systems in vehicles purchased from members of the association at a 10 per cent discount.
“Once someone buys a car from any used car dealer we offer a special price on a tracking system for the vehicle,” Roomes told Auto.
He added that the used car dealer would also receive a commission from Hawkeye on the sale of the tracking system.
JIIC and the JUCDA recently entered a similar deal for the purchase of insurance on vehicles bought through used car dealers.
Hawkeye Security sells electronic security and tracking systems.
“We also do fleet management,” Roomes added.
“Companies with a number of vehicles on the road can track them to see their speed and where they are to ensure that they have not gone out of their territory,” he said.
