Hezron thrills at Christopher’s
THERE were lots of great vibes at Christopher’s Jazz Café at the Quad nightclub during their weekly Thursday Night Live Jazz last week, headlined by reggae singer Hezron.
Christopher’s official MC, Monte (father of club owner Brian ‘Ribbie’ Chung), set the pace for the night’s entertainment. Patrons, eagerly anticipating the star performer of the night, started trekking in as the Bonfire band strummed up groovy music. And Hezron did not disappoint. The singer had Christopher’s rocking to his sweet vocals as he belted out his renditions of classic reggae and R&B hits, as well as his single, So In Love.
His sensual duet with Ashley turned the temperature way up inside the club, especially when they performed the Marley classic, Turn Your Lights Down Low.
Masterfully in control of the microphone, Hezron worked the stage and the audience as he moved with confidence serenading the ladies and inspiring the men to hold their lovers tight.
Entertaining performances for the night also came from Courtney on saxophone, Garth, Princeton, Marie Clarke from Dominica performing opera to a reggae beat, Madala, among others.
Hezron’s next big performance will be at Reggae Sumfest International Night I on Friday.
