REGGAE Sumfest International Night II has come and gone, but memories of Usher’s performance will linger in the minds of his adoring female fans.

The American R&B singer was in total control from the minute he took the stage at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex, Montego Bay, on Saturday, July 24.

The singer’s every move seemed calculated to get the females caught up in the sensual web he spun.

He was the Pied Piper and they were his willing subjects following wherever he led with songs such as Caught Up, Can You Get Wit It, Bad Girl, Nice and Slow, Burn, U Got It Bad and Confession Pt II.

For 90 minutes the American singer held the crowd captive with his sexual nuances and oftentimes erotic moves.

“You want something special?” Usher asked to overwhelming shouts of “Yes!” from the crowd.

The ‘specials’ turned out to be even more entertainment for them as he called on stage dancehall deejay Mavado. Usher had his fans screaming as he showed he was knowledgable of the Jamaican dance moves and lingua.

Hand in the air he shouted, “Lick a shot Jamaica!” to the crowd’s amusement.

The singer wasn’t through with his surprise as, shortly after, Elephant Man and fellow American Chris Brown joined him on stage. Excitement was fever pitch as the three got into a dance-off much to the crowd’s delight.

Complemented by his female dancers and musical entourage Usher left his name still ringing on the lips of the many who were lucky enough to witness his class act.
