The highly anticipated Smirnoff Dream weekend has done it again. Like last year the pre-sold armbands have been completely sold out but much earlier than expected.

According to PJ Wright of the Dream Team, the bands were going very quickly and many outlets reported that they had run out.

“Last year all our armbands were sold out before the first day of parties. We expected it this year and actually printed additional bands to cover the extra demand, however, those are now also sold,” Wright said.

“Based on the overwhelming demand, we will be providing a few, extremely limited season bands at our redemption centre at Margaritaville, Negril,” he added.

This will commence on Friday July 30 at noon. These tickets will be sold during the course of that day as long supplies last.

“These season armband tickets will not be pre-sold but rather be sold “day of”, therefore, we will not be able to offer you heavily discounted price of $10,000. These bands will retail for $12,000,” he explained.

“If, regrettably, you do miss the opportunity to purchase these “day of” armbands, you can still attend all of our events and share in what promises to be the most exciting weekend experience ever, by purchasing tickets for individual events,” he ended.

Smirnoff Dream weekend offers a total of seven parties and patrons can either purchase the armband which offers entry inot all, or select individual parties,and pay an admission price for that event only. The parties are: Smirnoff Flavours, $2000; Smirnoff Twisted Spiritz, $2500; Daydreams, $4000; Heineken YUSH, $2500; Xtreme Wet and Wild, $4500; Heineken Beer Vibes, $2500 and Smirnoff Xclusive $3500.

According to Marsha Lumley, brand manager for Smirnoff, the weekend has certainly attracted much attention and everything was in place.

“The organisers and sponsors are working together with the venue management, town officials and the police to ensure that everything goes well this weekend.” she said.
